NQA Interview with Archie Gemmell Part 3

In this video, Adam Faiers from ISO Compliance Register interviews Archie Gemmell, Field Director at NQA, a leading UKAS/ANAB accredited certification body that provides certification, training and support services for ISO standards. 

This section of the interview covers the new climate change requirements and the changes it caused. It provides insight into how new requirements are introduced, using this specific case of climate change. 

These requirements are now fully included in audits, with this interview clip providing more details on how this was rolled out and passed down to NQA auditors. This included providing information around it, adding a document to their own management system and looking into ways it can be applied. 

So what feedback have NQA received about the climate change requirements? Initial pushback from customers was explained as an automatic response, with customers being much more positive and accepting of the changes once the intent is fully explained to them.
