NQA Interview with Laura Fletcher
Introduction to NQA
In this video, Adam Faiers from ISO Compliance Register interviews Laura Fletcher, managing director of NQA, a leading UKAS/ANAB accredited certification body who provide certification, training and support services for ISO standards.
In this section of the interview, we asked Laura for an introduction to NQA, for anyone who may not have heard of them before. This introduction discusses their number of auditors around the world and the breadth of certificates available, covering a wide range of ISO standards.
Biggest ISO Standards at the minute?
We also asked what ISO standards are the most common at the moment, such as sustainability and information security.
ISO 9001 is identified as the most common, however sustainability (e.g. ISO 14001) and information security (ISO 27001) are highlighted as core risk areas that are increasing in frequency among businesses.
This interview is a great introduction to understanding NQA’s role as a certification body and how they help their customers with their ISO standard obligations. It provides insight into the most common ISO standards, highlighting how businesses are moving more towards sustainability to protect both themselves and the environment.
